Currently there is an equal chance of getting online electronics stores, according to the latest annual survey of buying electronics Consumer Reports.

In addition, for the third year running websites received many of the best scores in the qualification of electronics retailers. Among the highest scoring sites are BHPhotoVideo.com, Crutchfield.com, Amazon.com and Newegg.com.

Why have the best scores:

- Web sites with the highest score in the survey stand out primarily for its pricing and product offerings. Amazon.com and Newegg.com are characterized by ease of use of their websites.

- Newegg.com also received the highest rating in price, but charge an additional 15% restocking of product in all major purchases and returned if the box is open.

- BHPhotoVideo.com worth it for the price, but offers one of the shortest periods for returns compared with other sites on the scores.

- Although Crutchfield.com qualifies as average price in the business, earned top marks in terms of variety, and offers a solid combination of customer service and ease of purchase.

Tips on how to buy electronic items this Spring, whether they are shopping online or in stores:

The discounts could start earlier than usual. While discounts on electronic equipment have begun, the best prices could be yet to come. Consumers are advised to make their purchases at check return policies and price match if you have better discounts or later see a better and cheaper.

Haggling works, even online. Those who like to bargain can find better opportunities in an independent or regional chain with a national retailer. According to Consumer Reports survey, over half of customers who requested a reduction were unsuccessful. The average savings was $ 165 in $ 105 televisions and computers. Although only 2% of respondents haggled online, those who did had the same average success at the store.

Ongoing attempts to sell securities. As a general rule, Consumer Reports believes that extended warranties are not the wisest decision. Two out of three in-store buyers reported that staff struggled to sell extended warranties. Overall, about one in eight in-store buyers purchased a warranty. However, a plan that exceeds the computer support and repair coverage of the standard factory warranty might be worth it, 30% of respondents who bought a computer buyer also claimed to have extended warranty.

When you are trying to have a good deal online, its very important that you must pay attention to the seller's feedback and don't be impressed by the kind of warranties or the free shipping deals he offers, as we said: pay attention if its a scam; to detect them will be pretty easy if you follow the next steps:

1.- Check their recent transactions, can be an stolen account if there's no recent activity. Be sure there's at the very least activities in the last 7-10 days, otherwise reject it.

2.- Be sure that the seller has a positive feedback, below 95% should make you think about their honesty and if its a good seller and the transaction will be smooth and easy.

3.- Be sure that the item location is the same as the seller's location. Check if the location really exists, and if not it can be really suspicious.

4.- Check the payment methods, if he was receiving PayPal but now is not accepting it, be sure its not a scam and your money will be lost forever.

5.- Be sure also that the feedback belongs to sales and not to its purchased items, a valid feedback as seller is more trustable if its built along with good sales and honesty during the time.

6.- The last thing and most important to be checked is the BBB [Best Business Bureau] certification, which will give you the confidence since BBB is the bureau where the good sellers belong and its a warranty of honesty and good business.
